NEW: 45 House Republicans led by Rep. Matt Rosendale (R-MT), are accusing the Biden administration of attempting to abolish ICE "from within" after the Department of Homeland Security has placed a number of restrictions on the agency
foxnews.com → House Republicans accuse Biden DHS of seeking to 'abolish ICE from within' with new rules for agents

Proud to lead this effort urging Secretary Mayorkas to rescind his memoranda that seeks to abolish ICE from within by preventing agents from enforcing U.S. immigration laws.

With the Biden border crisis getting worse by the day, we need ICE to enforce our laws more than ever.

The Biden Admin is trying to destroy ICE from within by preventing agents from enforcing our laws. Proud to sign onto this letter. Thank you to my colleague from Montana for leading this effort. Rep. Matt Rosendale (R-MT)

🚨 Amid the #BidenBorderCrisis @SecMayorkas is ALSO blocking ICE enforcement!

Rep. Roy joined Rep. Matt Rosendale (R-MT) in calling on him to "rescind these misguided memoranda, faithfully enforce our nation’s immigration laws, and empower ICE personnel to continue the critical work they do”

Today I introduced the SECURE America Act in response to the mass resettlement of unvetted Afghan refugees in the U.S. & the ongoing southern border crisis.

foxnews.com → House GOP bill would reclaim Congress’ authority over refugee admissions, end DHS parole authority

This bill focuses on 3 priorities:

-Reclaim Congress and Governors power to set refugee limit

-Ensure thorough vetting process prior to admission

-End DHS parole authority

This legislation is long overdue.

Proud to co-sponsor Rep. Matt Rosendale (R-MT)'s SECURE America Act to strengthen the vetting process for foreign nationals coming into the U.S.

We must protect America’s sovereignty and its citizens from illegal aliens who are unvetted, unscreened, and now unaccounted for in our mainland.

We must make sure that people are properly screened before, not after, they arrive.

The SECURE America Act will make necessary reforms that put America’s safety first.

We must prioritize the safety and security of the American people, and the SECURE America Act helps achieve that mission. I am proud to be a cosponsor.

I'm a proud cosponsor of the SECURE America Act. Our refugee laws & processes are among the biggest contributing factors to our immigration crises. This bill overhauls the process for admission of refugees & greatly decrease a presidential admin’s ability to weaken the process.
