That @fred_guttenberg can talk every day about what the loss of his daughter means to his family and his own resolve to #endgunviolence should inspire all of us to do more!

From Rep. Fletcher, representing Texas

For those young, bright minds who died on this day in 2018, and for their families, friends, and community at Santa Fe High School: we remember.

And to those advocating for gun safety in our schools, our places of worship, and our homes: we will keep fighting to #EndGunViolence.

From Rep. Swalwell, representing California

Our kids are not blind to America's mass shooting problem and are wondering what we will do about it. #EndGunViolence

Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA-15) On a serious note, I have a 5 year old and I would never let him hear about something like this.

My 4-year-old walks into a room with the news on, asks about a mass shooting and it’s the parents’ fault he heard about it? Folks, we have a gun problem in America. #EndGunViolence

From Rep. Swalwell, representing California

My 4-year-old just FaceTimed to ask what I’m doing to “help the people in Buffalo” and “why did the bad man do this?” Absolutely gutting. This cannot be his normal. It’s time to BAN ASSAULT WEAPONS.

I love the “no 4-year-old would ask this” takes. You’re in absolute denial if you think our kids aren’t watching the horrors we are allowing.

From Rep. Frankel, representing Florida

I am deeply saddened about the horrific shooting that took the lives of so many innocent members of the Buffalo community this weekend.

Good people must work together to stop hate-fueled & racist crime & we must work to #EndGunViolence.

Breaking News: Gun deaths reached the highest level ever recorded in the U.S. in 2020, the CDC reported on Tuesday. Gun-related homicides, in particular, rose by 35%, a surge that exacted an unprecedented toll on Black men, researchers said.

While President Trump was in office, due to his NRA-supported policies, America saw the highest level of gun deaths ever recorded.

Congress can—and should—take bipartisan action that will help to save lives and #EndGunViolence.

I’ll keep pushing for Congress to do just that.

Since losing my son Jordan at the hands of a man with a gun, #MothersDay has been a difficult day for me and for my family. I continue to honor my son with my work in Congress, and I honor his memory today.

I will always be "Jordan's Mom."

Sending an abundance of love ❤️ to you sister Soror Rep. Lucy McBath (D-GA-6) today. Lifting you and #HappyMothersDay you honor all mothers by your work to #Endgunviolence

From Rep. Neguse, representing Colorado

Every single one of these candidates is a proven gun safety champion.

In 2018, they secured a new gun safety majority and brought renewed energy to the fight against gun violence. I am proud to back these courageous leaders who are passionate about saving lives.
