By a 4-1 party line vote the Executive Council has rejected $27M in federal funds to boost the state’s vaccination rate. Councilor Warmington voted in favor of accepting the funding; Councilors Wheeler, Gatsas, Stevens & Kenney voted against. #NHPolitics #WMUR

Once again, we are seeing dangerous behavior from Concord.

Make no mistake: this is a vote against New Hampshire. It risks the health and safety of Granite Staters and our economy.

Today’s vote is a shameful disservice to the safety of Granite Staters, their families & communities.

These federal resources are critical to boosting vaccination rates in NH & the fact that Republicans on the Executive Council rejected these funds is unconscionable & dangerous.

By denying critical federal $ to bolster NH’s vaccination efforts, NH Republicans are hurting our state’s ability to get to the other side of the pandemic & save lives. This extremist, reckless anti-science behavior must stop– lives are in danger & Granite Staters deserve better.

NH Exec. Council approves, 3-2, family planning contract with Belknap-Merrimack County CAP. Councilors Cinde Warmington, D-Concord, Joe Kenney, R-Wakefield, and Janet Stevens, R-Rye, voted yes. #nhpolitics

It's unconscionable that funding for Belknap-Merrimack CAP’s family planning contract was defunded last month. They are the only Title X provider left in our state. The Executive Council's outright assault on women & their access to health care is deplorable.

GOP councilors must also return funding to @ppnnehealth, Equality and Lovering Health Centers, which provide 80% of vital family planning care in NH. Without these contracts, thousands of NH women could face barriers to essential health care.
