51 Senators didn't even allow so much as a debate on the #WHPA, even though 70% of Americans support a woman’s right to choose.

Say it with me: #AbolishTheFilibuster.

We have on record every Republican Senator who voted against the #WHPA. Now, it’s the American public’s civic duty to hold them accountable at the ballot box next November.

Today, Senate Republicans proved that they are ready to ban access to safe abortions nationwide. We cannot stand silent during this blatant attack on women in our country. Access to safe abortions is a basic and fundamental right! #WHPA #RoeVWade

For years I’ve been a steadfast advocate of the health care Planned Parenthood provides—especially their location in New Haven, which I’ve visited many times. This afternoon I went a few blocks from the Capitol to visit their DC location & thank their incredible staff.

This has been a really tough few weeks for providers all across the country. From the bottom of my heart, especially with today’s vote on #WHPA, I wanted to say thank you. We’ll never stop fighting for reproductive freedom.

It’s protecting access to abortion or the filibuster.

It’s time to #AbolishtheFilibuster and pass the #WHPA.

I'm extremely disappointed that debate on the #WHPA was blocked today, especially in the midst of imminent, Republican-led efforts to ban abortion services across the country. I trust the women of New Mexico to make their own decisions, and the federal government should, too.

A woman has a right to make her own health care decisions without the government getting between her and her medical providers. That right should not depend on what state she lives in.

On the record! The Senate just failed to protect abortion rights despite draconian threats from SCOTUS. But this isn't a one & done. The fight continues. The Senate must vote on #WHPA every week until this fundamental right is enshrined in law. No backing down & no compromises!

Shameful. Without #WHPA, everyone is at risk of losing the right to make their own decisions about their bodies, lives, and futures.

But this isn’t over. We will keep fighting to enshrine Roe and ensure every person’s right to reproductive freedom.

Senate Republicans just blocked the Women's Health Protection Act from advancing YET AGAIN.

We cannot revert back to a dangerous and deadly past.
